Cure For Cullen

Cullen

AirLife Denver's crew has recently been touched by the life and journey of Cullen McReynolds, who is the son of a family friend of Flight Nurses Elizabeth Ahl and Robert Greene. Cullen was diagnosed in June 2009 with stage 4 neuroblastoma: a very aggressive cancer which originated near Cullen's adrenal gland and has since spread to the lymph nodes and bones. As Cullen and his parents battle through his treatments together, AirLife is proud to join them in looking to a hopeful future where a cure for "the Cullenator" might be found. In making Cullen our newest "junior flight crew member," AirLife knows we all can be the difference for his future.

AirLife encourages anyone who hears of Cullen's story to read more at his site on CaringBridge.org. We also hope you too will join us in supporting the fight to Cure the Cullenator by sending donations to:

A very big "Thank you" to all the members of Littleton Fire Rescue's, Local 2086 FF Foundation, for your generous donation of $500 to the James Ulrich Scholarship Fund at Swedish Hospital. This scholarship fund provides support for individuals who want to go to paramedic school and can not afford it. As you may know, Jim died at the end of 2006 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Jim worked for Englewood Fire for 28 years, the last 8 as the EMS Chief. Your thoughtful donation helps keep his memory alive in EMS.
