AIRLIFE DENVER Announces New 4th Helicopter Base in Cheyenne |
Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is expanding its emergency care across the region with the addition of an AIRLIFE Denver medical helicopter service in Cheyenne. The new service is a partnership between Cheyenne Regional and HCA-HealthONE, which operates AIRLIFE Denver.

The new blue and sonic green helicopter will be stationed in Cheyenne and provide air ambulance coverage for southern Wyoming, western Nebraska and Northern Colorado communities starting in early 2012.

After 28 years of service and over 48,000 lives affected by our transports, Safety remains the priority each and every time our crews prepare to respond to a call.
We know that your highest priority is the safety of your patient, and your concerns come into play as you decide whom to call for a patient transport. At AIRLIFE, Safety is not proprietary; rather it is something to be promoted and shared among all coordinating agencies for improved service, support and outcomes for all.
We encourage you, if you have not done so already, to read the Safety Letter AirLife Denver sent to our community partners in a preemptive response to the concerns we realized would arise in the wake of incidents involving air medical transports.
